Acknowledges the importance of regional implementation facilitated by GOOS regional offices, and notes with approval the report made by the independent performance evaluation group of the Rio GOOS Program Office, including its recommendation to renew the Memorandum of Understanding between UNESCO and the Government of Brazil for the functioning of this Office.
