The 26th IOC Assembly (Paris, 22 June–5 July 2011) decided through Resolution XXVI-7 to set up the Inter-ICG Task Team on Hazard Assessment Related to Highest Potential Tsunami Source Areas. The Task Team reports to the IOC Working Group on Tsunamis and Other Hazards Related to Sea-Level Warning and Mitigation Systems (TOWS-WG). The Terms of References for the Task team is provided in Annex VI of the Summary Report from the 4th session of TOWS-WG (20–21 March 2011, Paris) http://unesdoc.unesco.org/images/0019/001930/193023e.pdf The Inter Task Team will meet in its first session on 24 September 2013. The meeting is convened back-to-back with the IUGG Tsunami Commission meeting (www.tsunami2013.org).
