IOCINDIO-VII sessions are organised in accordance with Assembly Decision IOC-XXIX/3.4.4 that accepted the report of IOCINDIO-VI and the recommendations therein including the IOCINDIO workplan and the organization of the present workshop.
Under the chairmanship of Dr M. A. Atmanand (India), Director of the National Institute of Ocean Technology (NIOT), the session will review the progress in the implementation of the recommendations of IOCINDIO-VI together with the results of the preceding Scientific, Technical and Institutional Innovations Workshop. The report of the session and recommendations therein will be submitted to the IOC Assembly at its 30th session for endorsement (Paris, 26 June–4 July 2019).
