The conference comprises the following topic areas. IAMSLIC in Action This session will highlight our organization and the many ways it has advanced the profession. Examples of possible presentations include, but are not limited to, regional developments fostered by IAMSLIC or collaborative projects undertaken by members. Indigenous Fisheries Information: Collection and Dissemination Portland, located near the Bonneville Dam and home to the Columbia River Inter-Tribal Fish Commission, is a perfect setting to explore ways these non-traditional resources have been discovered and used. A “Fresh” Look at Aquatic Information For the first time the conference will include an entire session on topics related to freshwater information. Librarians as Catalysts in Narrowing the Digital Gap In 2002, IAMSLIC devoted its conference to the digital divide. Four years later, we return to the topic for an update on activities librarians have undertake to address this ongoing concern.
