Doing monthly coral reef monitoring both in Gulf of Mannar and Palk Bay since 2003. Bio-physical status of corals, reef fishes and associated fauna are assessed regularly to make a baseline data. These data was useful to assess the 2002 bleaching impact and 2004 tsunami impact.

Advanced openwater diver, having underwater survey experience since 2003 both in Gulf of Mannar and Palk Bay. Enlisted the available coral fauna of Palk Bay for the first time. Good underwater photographer.
