Research interests include computer simulators and economics modelling of but not limited to marine resource use. Focus on the analysis of economic and financial decision making process by fishing operators through spatial and statistical analysis. Regression analysis and simulation to model trends and changes in natural resource use and human behaviour. Bio-economic evaluations of alternative management strategies. Spatial analysis of fishery catch effort data. Spatial risk analysis for endangered species . Economic and financial simulators as well as monitoring tools used to assist stakeholder groups and industry participants. Mapping tools to display dynamically, spatially and seasonally fishery catch and effort information. Design computer applications to enhance fisheries intelligence and trends analysis.
