Under The Pole is an underwater exploration program founded in 2008, which combines innovation, scientific research and education, in the service of a better knowledge of the oceans. Our explorers provide their diving expertise and the schooner "WHY" to explore the deepest and most remote depths of our oceans, in all latitudes. Internationally recognized for its experience in deep diving, especially in the polar environment, Under The Pole has already gathered 250 team members and 300 companies and partner research institutes. 

Our awareness activity aims to touch the main target audiences : Youth (education program), Civil Society (awareness campaign), Political decision makers (advocacy), Scientific audience, and Professionals. 

We use every type of communication resources in print, digital, events and networking. 

Our main educational goals :

• Testify and create tools to raise awareness of the impact of climate change, in particular on marine ecosystems and their resources

• Awaken, inspire and transmit our passion (from the younger generations to the decision makers)

• Strengthen the dissemination of knowledge on the oceans

• Familiarize students with the techniques used by divers to explore the

underwater environments

• Stimulate exchanges between the actors
