- Participated in sediment sampling, laboratory extraction, and identification of meiofaunal organisms using microscopy techniques.
- Undertook taxonomic identification and classification of marine nematodes and other meiofaunal taxa.
- Applied multivariate ecological analyses in R to investigate relationships between microplastic characteristics and benthic community structure of Kenyan creeks.
- Contributed to review of literature on deep-sea biodiversity within the Western Indian Ocean region.
- Participated in an internship at Ifremer on meiofauna taxonomy and high-resolution digital acquisition techniques.
- Conducted socio-economic survey analysis for Participatory Forest Management Plans in various Kenyan forest ecosystems.
- Participated in two separate trainings on meiofauna ecology funded by ISA.
- I am currently engaged in supporting projects and collaboration activities through the African Network of Deep-water Researchers. I also assist in coordination and communication activities related to marine science seminars, workshops, and research opportunities.
