Activities
With over 15 years of experience in sustainable development, I have dedicated my career to driving positive change in environmental education, economic viability, and social equity. My journey began with a strong foundation in environmental studies, leading me to engage in diverse roles such as economic, social, and environmental project feasibility analysis, and policy development. My expertise extends to managing projects and public policies at both federal and state levels, collaborating with international organizations like FAO, OEI, and UNDP.
During my master's studies, I had the privilege of participating in the Red PPAL - Network in Favor of Agroecology in Latin America and the Caribbean, fostering collaboration with researchers across the region, including esteemed institutions like CIRAD, France. Currently, as a Technical Analyst at UNDP, I am actively involved in the ABS project - Capacity Building and Institutional Strengthening in the National Framework for Access and Benefit Sharing. This initiative, executed in partnership with the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change and the Inter-American Development Bank, utilizes resources from the Global Environment Facility to drive sustainable practices.
Throughout my career, I have cultivated strong relationships with stakeholders spanning traditional communities, government entities, and the private sector. My multifaceted experience equips me with a unique perspective and a deep understanding of the complexities inherent in sustainable development initiatives. I am driven by a passion for creating impactful solutions that address environmental challenges while promoting social inclusivity and economic prosperity.
In the pursuit of my career, I remain committed to leveraging my skills and experiences to contribute meaningfully to initiatives that advance sustainable development goals.
