Subject Area
Biological Oceanography, Marine Ecology
Activities
I hold a PhD in Biological Sciences and have
dedicated over a decade to marine ecological research in Patagonia, with a
focus on biodiversity, trophic ecology, and conservation. Throughout my
academic career, I have developed strong analytical, organizational, and
project management skills, including coordinating complex fieldwork. As the
author of multiple scientific publications and reports, and as a speaker at
national and international conferences, I have effectively communicated
scientific knowledge to diverse audiences in both English and Spanish.
In recent years, I have transitioned into the
tourism sector as an expedition guide and lecturer in Patagonia and Antarctica,
with the goal of applying my scientific background in more practical contexts.
In this role, I have led international groups in remote and highly regulated
environments, supporting daily operations and strengthening my ability to
manage itineraries, logistics, and traveler experience. I deliver scientific
interpretation through engaging and accessible communication, fostering participation
and raising awareness about conservation.
