I’m currently working at the Bermuda Institute of Ocean Sciences (ASU BIOS), where I lead workshops i teach lessons in classrooms, field or in the laboratory, i teach students to manipulate VR and underwater robots, and I even lead snorkelling through Bermuda's coral reefs!
My goal is to promote scientific literacy and inspire curiosity about the environmental challenges our community is facing and how contemporary research tackles them
Skills
I am experienced in pedagogical research and science education, including planning, developing and assessing relevant educational activities, alongside museum and teaching experience. I have also developed transferable skills related to biology, marine science and research, including data collection and analysis, Rstudio, and scientific writing.
