I have a strong background in numerical modeling and a deep understanding of wave dynamics, ocean circulation, and air-sea interactions. Throughout my career, I have successfully navigated roles across academia, research centers, and consultancy firms, providing expert analysis for both coastal and offshore projects. My experience working within contractor environment has provided me with a direct understanding of the operational requirements and addressing the technical limitations and unresolved complexities that impact decision-making in large-scale offshore and nearshore operations. I specialize in the advanced simulation of waves, currents, and winds, utilizing advanced computational workflows and rigorous post-processing. My technical expertise is anchored by a PhD focused on the impacts of climate change on tropical cyclones, which involved the extensive application of GCMs to analyze long-term atmospheric and oceanic shifts. With a strong foundation in atmospheric science and the implementation of numerical frameworks such as HWRF, I can analyze the complex physics of extreme events in offshore and nearshore environments. By bridging the gap between climate research and engineering practice, I provide the specialized insight to integrate climate change risks into design values and structural resilience strategies.
