Activities
My research activities focus on marine geology, seafloor morphology, sedimentology, bathymetric mapping, and environmental characterization of coastal and marine systems. I am currently developing research on the morphological and sedimentary characterization of Banco do Álvaro, located on the Equatorial Brazilian Margin, using high-resolution multibeam bathymetry, seabed terrain analysis, sedimentological data, and ROV imagery for seabed interpretation and validation.
My work involves the processing and interpretation of bathymetric data, terrain analysis, seabed landform classification, sediment grain-size characterization, carbonate content analysis, and integration of geospatial datasets in GIS environments. I also have experience with oceanographic and environmental data acquisition, including participation in research cruises, where I supported multibeam echosounder operations, CTD and ADCP data acquisition, and onboard data processing.
In addition to my academic research, I work with environmental management projects related to hydropower reservoirs and surrounding communities, including environmental monitoring, water quality programs, environmental education, waste management, stakeholder engagement, and technical reporting for environmental compliance.
Skills
I have professional skills in marine geology, oceanographic data acquisition, multibeam bathymetry, GIS analysis, sedimentological characterization, environmental monitoring, and technical reporting. I have experience with bathymetric data processing, seabed morphology interpretation, sediment sample analysis, ROV image interpretation, and spatial data management.
I am also skilled in environmental project management, coordination of multidisciplinary teams, preparation of technical reports, fieldwork planning, stakeholder engagement, and environmental compliance. My technical background includes the use of GIS and geospatial tools, bathymetric processing software, remote sensing platforms, and data analysis workflows applied to marine and environmental studies.

Comment(s)
I am an oceanographer and MSc researcher in Geology with a strong interest in marine geosciences, seabed mapping, environmental monitoring, and sustainable management of coastal and marine environments. My academic and professional experience combines marine research, geospatial analysis, fieldwork, environmental project management, and applied environmental consulting. I am particularly interested in opportunities related to marine geology, oceanographic surveys, seabed characterization, offshore environmental studies, and international scientific collaboration.
