I am a student pursuing a graduate certificate in Applied Geographic Information Systems with plans to continue on with a Masters degree in Policy, Planning, and Management with a concentration in Sustainability.

Past professional experience has been working with the United States Antarctic Program (USAP) contracting for the National Science Foundation (NSF) for a number of years. I provided logistical support and material planning for science groups at Amundsen-Scott South Pole Station, McMurdo Station, and Palmer Station in Antarctica and Summit Station in Greenland, also as an NSF contractor. I have also previously been a reservist for the United States Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), using and maintaining their logistics systems for emergency management purposes in the even of natural disasters.

Most recently, I have received a Bachelors Degree in Information Assurance and have been securing data in a cloud infrastructure environment for the last five years before moving on from that role. I am now looking to leverage past skills and knowledge and apply them to efforts responsibly bolstering the blue economy.
