I am a marine scientist specialising in quantitative analysis of benthic ecosystems, with expertise in integrating biological and oceanographic data to address complex ecological questions. My research focuses on mesophotic reef communities, long-term change, and the impacts of extreme oceanographic events, with direct relevance to marine conservation and management.
I bring a strong cross-disciplinary background, including extensive experience in statistical modelling, large environmental datasets, and science communication for policy and management audiences. I have worked across both marine and human health research, leading projects that range from ship-based field programs to large-scale clinical trials, with a consistent focus on rigorous study design, reproducibility, and timely delivery of decision-ready outputs.
I am motivated by opportunities that contribute to evidence-based marine management, operational monitoring programs, and interdisciplinary research teams.
