Research and teaching on development and improvement of aquaculture management technologies that are environmentally friendly, ecologically viable and compatible with other human activities, and sustainable in the long term. Species of interest for aquaculture: Penaeus spp., Cherax spp., Macrobrachium spp., Oreochromis spp., Strombus spp., Crassostrea spp., Argopecten spp., Trachinotus spp., Coryphaena spp., Sciaenidae, Serranidae, Lutjanidae, Paralichthyidae.
