established protocols for sampling different marine environments, such as
coastal areas, open oceans, estuaries, and aquaculture facilities
- Gather and organize equipment and
materials needed for sample collection like water, sediment, plankton, fish, etc.
2. Laboratory analysis
- Conduct
water quality tests including measurements of temperature, salinity, pH,
dissolved oxygen, and nutrient concentrations
- Perform physical, chemical, and
biological analyses on collected samples.
- Identify
and classify marine organisms using microscopes and taxonomic keys
3.
Experiment
Assistance
Assist senior staff and researchers in setting up and
conducting experiments related to marine techniques, fish behavior, or
environmental studies.
