MantaWatch is dedicated to the conservation and sustainable management of manta rays. Our aim is to promote awareness, change and the eventual solution to declining manta ray populations worldwide. Finding solutions in our rapidly changing world is essential to the well-being of ourselves, our economies and our communities – both local and global. We firmly believe that, as members of these communities, we each have a vital role to play in identifying and implementing these solutions. That is why we promote social approaches – from empowering local communities to manage their own marine resources, to crowd sourcing broad-scale manta population assessments – as an effective way to achieve our goal of conserving manta rays.
