·        Provide Seaglider warranty service during and after the Huntington Ingalls Industries Seaglider transfer to Advanced Offshore Operations Inc.

·        Mechanical and electronics assembly servicing, of both surface and sub-surface oceanographic instrumentation, such as Seagliders, buoys, towed systems, autonomous profilers, etc.

·        Provide guidance and operation training for new field technicians and graduate students on the particulars of working productively with instrumentation safely in the lab and the challenging shipboard marine environment.

·        Consult international and national oceanographic researchers and industries with a Kaizen philosophy to identify inefficiencies and make recommendations for oceanographic instrumentation improvements and handling procedures.   

·        Develop unique single use deployment equipment and recovery systems for profiling platforms.

·        Maintaining and growing strong relationships with technicians, engineers and researchers across the world to know their potential and to deliver results for each research program.

·        Improve battery capacity for APEX line of profiling floats by nearly 60%.

·        Financial management, budgeting, expense tracking and quote/contract creation.

·        Developing customer relationships, outreach, marketing and website design.

·        Improve, troubleshoot and repair off-the-shelf oceanographic instrumentation.

·        Bridging the gap between industries, researchers and engineers to improve instrumentation functionality, lifespan and data collection with the upmost professionalism.

·        Overseeing and coordinating international and local field ship operations through collaborations with the ships Capitan, crew and engineers.
