Activities
Filha do Sol (Daughter of the Sun) is an NGO that focuses on climate advocacy and strengthening socio-environmental rights in the territories. Currently operating in 2 states of the northeast of Brazil (Piauí and Maranhão), in traditional communities and conservation units, it believes that climate solutions come from the grassroots and from tackling inequalities. We have implemented two main programs: the climate school, which provides resources and training directly to associations and leaders, and advocacy in public policy.
