Activities

Watchung Hills Regional High School is a highly performing secondary institution that is committed to excellence and equity. Our culture of inquiry and collaboration supports a comprehensive academic program, designed to teach students to ask questions, take risks, and solve problems. With emphasis on a growth mindset and social and emotional wellness, we help students discover their passions, discern pathways, and embrace challenges. Our 1:1 technology and STEAM initiatives complement a rich array of academic and co-curricular opportunities, including 24 AP courses, 31 interscholastic sports, and more than 60 clubs and activities. Students develop leadership skills and contribute to our school community through student government, student-run publications, service organizations, academic competitions, and award-winning performing arts programs. The student enrollment is 1978 with a senior class of 472. Approximately 92% of the Class of 2019 is attending post-secondary institutions.
