Activities
The department, through the Director General of Planning, is the chief government advisor on physical and Land-use planning. In this respect, the responsibility for planning the national space, including the Indian Ocean territory, lies with the directorate. Besides policy development, we also offer technical support and capacity building to County Governments, among other functions to ensure a planned and well organized country.
