Activities
I am a maritime archaeologist and forensic practitioner, specializing in adapting maritime archaeology methods and conservation of waterlogged finds processes for forensic recoveries. My experience in the field is diverse, spanning over the course of more than fifteen years. Since 2012, I have been employed by the Committee on Missing Persons in Cyprus on a full-time basis. During these 14+ years working for the CMP, I have participated in over 150 forensic excavations across Cyprus, prepared archaeological reports as the principal archaeologist, analysed and evaluated large datasets to locate clandestine burials from two armed conflicts, and provided my expertise as a maritime archaeologist within a forensic framework.
