Activities

Runde Environmental Center is an international research station for coastal ecology and marine research. We carry out assignments and research within coastal ecology and the marine environment for both public and private enterprises. 

The funding from the State Budget is of fundamental importance for Runde Environmental Center. The funds enable us to conduct research and dissemination on coastal and marine ecology, to disseminate research to a wide audience, and to operate a center with office space, an auditorium, a lab, apartments, and changing exhibitions.
