ARPA Puglia, the Regional Agency for Environmental Prevention and Protection, is the Technical Body of the Puglia Region, established and regulated by Regional Law No. 6 of January 22, 1999 , as amended by Regional Law No. 27 of October 4, 2006 , hereinafter referred to as the founding law.
ARPA Puglia is responsible for carrying out activities and tasks relating to environmental prevention and protection, as identified in Article 4 of the founding law, for the purpose of safeguarding environmental conditions, especially with regard to the health of citizens and the community.
