Wildlife Marine was founded in late 2011 and is one of the few internationally-recognised independent research/consultancy businesses in Australia. Its consultancy arm conducts tailored projects to meet the needs of managers, NGO's and regulatory agencies, while its research arm actively identifies and researches gaps in contemporary scientific knowledge. All programs are conducted to the highest international peer-review standards. Consultancy contracts are undertaken in the strictest of confidence, however the results of research projects are widely disseminated though scientific papers, award-winning documentaries, online and through the media. Wildlife Marine has traditionally focused on shark and fish projects, however terrestrial and coastal projects are being increasingly undertaken.
