| Summary | This third version of the plan has been drafted based on comments received at the GOOS SC meeting held in Beijing in April, 1999 and from the GOOS Project Office recently. There has been a major rewrite by which the document has become more of a strategy document for the development of GOOS data management. In addition to the strategies the document will contain details of the elements of the initial observing system and the participating organizations. It is intended to be a live document on-line that will continue to be a complete reference for GOOS data management. |
