| Summary | The Indo-Pacific Ocean Forum on "Charting the Future of Sustained Ocean Observations and Services" was held in Bangkok, Thailand, 25-28 November 2013. The forum was chaired Dr Sang-Kyung Byun, IOC Chair. The forum explored and discussed the present and past situation of ocean observation programmes in the WESTPAC region and exchanged information on the current status of ocean observation systems among member states of the Asia-Pacific Region (IOC Group IV). |
