| Summary | The document provides the latest development of electronic logbook (e-logbooks) in the framework of their use in marine climatology. Members operating the VOS have been encouraged to use e-logbooks such as TurboWin. It is essential that the computational algorithms used by e-logbooks be harmonized and amendments on codes and formats of the e-logbooks be carefully coordinated and accommodated in a timely fashion. |
