My professional experience is based on the following points:
1) TEACHING ACTIVITY :
-My teaching activity has started since 1993 and has been done in different Universities :Tunisia, Japan, Malaysia, France, Slovenia.
-After an intensive course about E-Learning (USA-2006), I published an online course "Zoology of invertebrates"
2) RESEARCH ACTIVITY :
I have started research since 1989. I created and managed a research group named "Marine Ecotoxicology"
Our Research is mainly based on the following topics
*studying the impact of pollution on marine organisms
*Validation of new tools (Biomarkers) for detecting pollution.
*The Endocrine disruption linked to urban effluents and its effect on reproduction of marine organisms.
*Sex inversion in some marine species and the substances involved
*The impact of pollution on Human health
*Bio active molecules from sea organisms.
3) OUTREACH &OCEAN LITERACY
In parallel with my duties as research manager, I was involved in different activities dealing with outreach, and conferences devoted to a non specialist audience. I also designed a regional museum of marine Biodiversity (TAPARURA project).
4) PROJECT MANAGEMENT
-During my professional career, I build up a national and international network. Moreover, I have manged 3 national and 9 international research projects.
-I was also selected as project evaluator (ERANET-MED, PRIMA), or external advisory board (EAB) (ERASMUS+)

As a research team manger, I did the following tasks
-Supervising PhD and master students,
-organizing seminars,
-Building up international collaborations with different institutions and laboratories.
-Our research was mainly focused on the Gulf of Gabès area (South eastern coast of Tunisia)
Now I am Senior expert working with a consultancy group.
