Monitoring and Science: I have conducted studies within estuarine and nearshore areas of the Pacific Northwest. I have assessed and guided the collection of monitoring data related to project effectiveness, and assembling new information about project effects to fish and habitat protected under the Endangered Species Act and the Magnuson-Stevens Fishery Conservation and Management Act.
Program Review: Review of federal, state and local programs that may affect species listed under the Endangered Species Act and the Magnuson-Stevens Fishery Conservation and Management Act. These reviews assess how plans can be modified and improved in order to conserve and enhance habitat for listed species.
Policy Review: Review of NOAA policies related to habitat protection and permitting under the Endangered Species Act, and the Magnuson-Stevens Fishery Conservation and Management Act. These include Habitat Conservation Planning, programmatic coverage under sections 7 and 10 of the ESA and within the MSA.
