Researcher in Environmental Pollution (Pesticides as Herbicide, Insecticide and Pharmaceutical residues) in Seawater and Sediments and Degradation. Technical experience: * Extraction of Chlorinated Pesticides and Poly Chlorinated Biphenyls (PCBs) in Water and sediment. * Extraction &fractionation of petroleum hydrocarbons (Aliphatic and Aromatic) in water and sediment. * Extraction and Determination of heavy metal in water, sediment and Biota. * Extraction of oil and grease in water. * Estimation of nutrient (silicate, phosphate, nitrate, nitrite, ammonia) in water. * Estimation of Toxicity, efficiency, and biodegradation for Dispersant. * Estimation of physicochemical parameters like Dissolved Oxygen (DO), Total Organic Carbon (TOC), Total Dissolved Solid (TDS). * Sampling of water and Sediment by water samplers and grab sediment in field. Instrumental Experience: * HPLC, (Analytical – Semi-preparative, Agilent technologies series 1200), sample preparation, injection and chromatogram analysis. * GC, Thermo Ultra trace (Analysis of hydrocarbon, Chlorinated pesticides, Polychlorinated Biphenyls, and essential Oils) * GC-MS, Thermo. (Good experience ) * FT-IR, Perkin-Elmer (Identification of samples by their functional groups). * Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy AAS, Shimatzue 6800 series (Analysis of heavy metals). * Determination of Total Nitrogen (biota and sediment samples) using Kjeldahl (Raypa DNP-1500). * Auto-analyzer (Measurement of nutrients). * Determination of Poly Aromatic hydrocarbon (PAHs), on Biological and Environmental Samples * Determination of pesticide residues and Poly Chlorinated Biphenyls (PCBs) on fruits and vegetables from market. * Evaluated of ADI and MRLs for Pesticides and Chemicals in Foods. * Pesticide residue analysis in plant parts and Soil and Water * Assessment Properties of certain New and Bio-pesticides against the insects in field in Laboratory.
