Activities

Currently I am developing my PhD Thesis, intitled "Harmful Algal Blooms in the Ria Formosa coastal lagoon: deciphering the relevance of natural and anthropogenic eutrophication."
I am now regularly monitoring phytoplanktonic community in my reseach area and also conducting several microcosms experiences with this community.
Main interests at the moment relate to phytoplankton (particularly HABs) and eutrophication.
