In the last 8 years I have been developing work about environmental contamination and eutrophication projects in coastal areas. I am experienced with organizing and managing field and laboratory work, as well as data analysis and interpretation. During my master's degree, I developed a dredging planning tool, whose scientific article in a high-impact journal already has 11 citations (Web of Science). The Dredging Sensitivity Index (DSI) evaluates the geochemical conditions of the environment to be dredged, as well as environmental and socioeconomic impacts, and identifies areas (un)suitable for dredging. During my Ph.D., I identified the descriptors and causes of water transparency events in Laguna de Araruama, which will help decision-making to develop a more effective environmental management of the lagoon
.I would like to be part iof a team where I can use my knowledge, but more important, where I could develop other hard skills such as isotopes, phytoplankton nutrition, and geochemical cycles.
