Activities
I am a dedicated Hydrographic Surveyor from Sri Lanka, currently enhancing my skills through a B.Sc. (Hons) in Surveying Sciences, with a specialization in Hydrographic Surveying. This academic program adheres to the FIG/IHO/ICA Standards of Competence for Category 'B' Hydrographic Surveyors, ensuring a comprehensive and globally recognized education.
Professionally, I am contributing to the National Aquatic Resources Research and Development Agency in Sri Lanka as a Trainee Hydrographic Surveyor. This role complements my academic journey and allows me to engage directly with advanced hydrographic surveying projects.
In parallel with my academic studies in Hydrographic Surveying, I have also gained valuable practical experience as a Part-Time Trainee Surveyor at Maga Engineering Pvt. Ltd, one of the leading engineering firms in the region. This position has been instrumental in applying my theoretical knowledge to practical, real-world scenarios, broadening my expertise across both land and maritime surveying.
My goal is to apply this unique combination of academic knowledge and practical experience to address challenging and innovative projects in ocean mapping and construction projects.
