Activities
I have conducted research on organic pollutants and organic matter in rivers, wells and springs. As well as monitoring physicochemical parameters, nutrients, toxins (microcystin) and chlorophyll in rivers, lakes, reservoirs. I am currently in the Marine Toxins Laboratory developing determinations of nutrients, toxins, chlorophyll and physicochemical parameters in fresh and salt water. As well as the future implementation of spectrophotometric pH and alkalinity methods in seawater samples.
Skills
Management of laboratory equipment: UV-VIS spectrophotometer, Infrared spectrometer, FID gas chromatograph and electron capture, gas-mass chromatograph, static headspace sampler, analyze total organic carbon (TOC).
