Activities
Through the Department of Seaweed we are developing methods for the sustainable use of algae as a material for making. Our work connects fields of practice from craft, art, design to chemistry and marine biology. We are a 'Do-Tank': connecting, enacting , speculating and building alliances around seaweed. In the Baltic Sea Lab I am currently developing a creative practices tool-box for engaging publics around ocean concerns. This project is being developed as part of the EU Horizon 2020 funded CreaTures project: https://creatures-eu.org/productions/baltic-sea-lab/
