The iCES is an interdisciplinary research centre that draws on the research and teaching expertise of internationally-renowned researchers across the University of Essex. These include the Dept of Biological Sciences, Dept of Computer Science and Electronic Engineering, Dept of Economics, the Essex Business School, Dept of Government, School of Health and Human Sciences, School of Law, Dept of Literature Film and Theatre Studies, and Dept of Sociology. The iCES also has links with the associate Writtle College of Agriculture
