UNISDR and the Colombian Federation of Municipalities (FCM by its Spanish acronym) sign a cooperation agreement regarding the World Campaign for Disaster Reduction: Making Cities Resilient, My city is Getting Ready. The signing took place within a special meeting of the FCM, in which more than 300 mayors participated. During this event Ricardo Mena, head of the UNISDR regional office for the Americas, had the opportunity to present to the mayors of Colombia, the current world disaster reduction campaign.
