Activities
The United Nations University has created the Institute for Environment and Human Security (UNU-EHS) to assess the vulnerability and coping capacity of societies facing natural and human-induced hazards in a changing environment. UNU’s new Institute for Environment and Human Security is one of 15 research and training centers and programmes world-wide. The official opening was celebrated on 15 June 2004 in Bonn.
