Activities

The Environment Agency is a Senior Management Organization of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Environment, founded on March 6, 1995.
It provides scientific and technical knowledge and offers specialized services for the management and management of natural resources, Conservation and rehabilitation of ecosystems, prevention and evaluation of natural disasters, and adaptation to climate change in order to achieve sustainable economic and social development, and to promote an environmental culture in the population.
It has subordinated to the following institutions: Institute of Meteorology , Institute of Oceanology, Institute of Ecology and Systematics, Institute of Tropical Geography, Institute of Geophysics and Astronomy, National Aquarium of Cuba and National Museum of Natural History.
