KDA is an organisation committed to aiding, especially through education, the plight of the Kanuri indigenous peoples of Africa. It is active in finding solutions to corruption, oppression, desertification and environmental degradation. Recently, they have also been involved on the issues of climate traditional knowledge and intangible cultural heritage.
