Activities
The Centre for the Economics and Management of Aquatic Resources (CEMARE) is based within the Department of Economics at the University of Portsmouth. Since its establishment in the early 1960s to promote multi-disciplinary research into marine resources, it has developed into a substantial centre for research, consultancy, training and advanced studies in fisheries economics and management, aquaculture, recreational and freshwater fisheries management and coastal zone management.
