Activities

Investing in the natural environment is important for its own sake and also because of the contribution it makes to our economy and quality of life. In the East of England, we believe the natural environment has a particular contribution to make in a variety of ways: to the rural economy; to tourism; by building distinctive places where people will want to live and work; by making a contribution to positive health outcomes; and finally, by helping the region adapt to climate change.
