Activities
The La Jollla Shores Drive Laboratory is located on the campus of Scripps Institution of Oceanography, UC San Diego, and is the location of the majority of the Fisheries Resources Division and a portion of the OMI Division. The laboratory is also the location of staff from NOAA’s National Satellite and Information Service, the Inter-American Tropical Tuna Commission, and California Department of Fish and Game.
The Southwest Fisheries Science Center is headquartered in La Jolla, California, and has science laboratories located in Santa Cruz and Monterey, California. We also have field stations in Granite Canyon and Arcata, California, and two field camps on the Antarctic Peninsula. NOAA Fisheries has additional offices in the covered geography which includes the Restoration Center, Office of Law Enforcement, General Counsel, and the Seafood Inspection Program.
