Activities
The Institute of Zoology consists of six divisions that offer a broad expertise in diverse areas of zoology, with a focus on evolutionary biology and ecology. Zoology at the University of Hamburg is represented by a young team of recently appointed professors, forming the backbone of a cutting-edge research environment. The Institute of Zoology and the Zoological Museum are joined in a tight partnership, cooperating in both research and teaching.
