Activities
According to the Law No. 82/1993, Danube Delta Biosphere Reserve is lead by a Scientific Council who includes representatives from DDBRA and from all the other organizations involved in the reserve (local authorities, ministries, health services, research institutions, Romanian Academy of Science, economic companies etc)
DDBRA is lead by a Governor, appointed by the Romanian Government at the proposal of the Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development with approval of Tulcea Prefect and Academy of Science. The Governor is the President of the Scientific Council and the Executive Council.
