Activities
Recognising the major scientific, technological and economic challenges associated with global change and urbanisation, our school brings together the traditional disciplines within both civil engineering and geoscience to address research and teaching in Earth Systems Science, Engineering and Management (ESSEM). ESSEM is mobilising Earth and environmental sciences, Earth observation, system simulation, analysis and design skills from across the science and engineering disciplines to inform decision making about integrated management of the built and natural environments at a range of scales.
