Activities

The Corporation Center of Excellence in Marine Sciences – CEMarin is a non-profit mixed entity, created in 2009 as an academic and scientific consortium for the study of problems in the field of marine sciences and the application of the knowledge obtained to the resolution of them. In 2015 we became a corporation founded by six universities (the Universidad Nacional de Colombia, the Universidad de los Andes, the Universidad de Bogotá Jorge Tadeo Lozano, the Universidad de Antioquia, the Universidad del Valle and the Justus-Liebig University, in Giessen, Germany), that collectively address current problems in this field of knowledge that can not be solved by isolated individuals or institutions.
