West Sulawesi University is a government higher education institution in West Sulawesi Province. West Sulawesi Province has high blue economy potential such as fisheries, ecotourism and conservation. One of the local wisdoms of West Sulawesi is the "Sandeq", namely a wind-powered ship which is a symbol of the maritime culture of the indigenous tribe of West Sulawesi (Mandar).
